May 06, 2024- Sunita Williams of Indian Origin is all set to go to space once again.  This time Butch Wilmore will also be with Williams. Two experienced NASA astronauts are all set to go to space aboard in Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft. This will be the first manned spacecraft, which will fly on May 7. According to NASA, the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket and Boeing Starliner spacecraft will be launched from the Kennedy Space Center at 8:04 am on May 7.

Willaims, who was going to conduct the mission told the mediaspersons that she was a little nervous. She was excited about flying in the new spacecraft. She further added, ‘When I reach the International Space Station, it will be like going back home.’

Sunita Williams, born to Dr. Deepak Pandya and Boney Pandya, will once again create history. She will be the first woman to fly on the first mission of a manned spacecraft. She has flown to space twice back in 2006 and 2012. Williams has spent a total of 322 days in space in two missions, which is a record in itself.
