DHANAULA, August 6 — At least 15 people, including seven women, sustained injuries in a major fire that erupted at a hall inside Shree Hanuman Mandir Barnewala on Tuesday.
Officials said that six of the injured suffered 70 to 80 percent burns and were rushed to the Government Medical College, Faridkot, for specialised treatment.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and authorities are investigating the incident. Local emergency teams and residents joined in the initial rescue effort before fire tenders arrived at the scene.
