Kutch, Gujarat, December 23, 2024: A 3.7 magnitude earthquake was registered in Kutch, Gujarat, on Monday morning at 10:44 am.
Reports confirm that no injuries or damage have been reported as of now.
This marks the second earthquake of magnitude three or higher in the district this month, with a 3.2 magnitude tremor recorded on December 7.
Gujarat, a high-risk seismic zone, has experienced several major earthquakes in the past.
Last month, a magnitude 4 earthquake was reported in Kutch on November 18, following a magnitude 4.2 earthquake in Patan on November 15.
The devastating 2001 earthquake in Kutch, which struck on January 26, is considered one of the largest in India over the last two decades.
