NEW DELHI, OCT 11: Legal proceedings surrounding the detention of prominent Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) figures concluded as an Executive Magistrate ordered the conditional release of Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka. Party legal head Ratna Singh stated that the officials were set free after fulfilling requirements stipulating that they refrain from activities disrupting public order over a twelve-month period.

Police representatives asserted that permission for the proposed agitation at Jantar Mantar had been formally denied prior to the event. Authorities pointed to procedural oversights regarding application timelines and referenced prior violations of guidelines established during previous assemblies at the location.

The political leaders appeared before the magistrate’s court at Delhi Cantt, where official conditions were established to secure their discharge. CJP representatives indicated that a comprehensive public statement regarding the administrative restrictions and the details of their detention would be delivered later in the day.

The planned protest had focused on allegations of electoral irregularities, targeting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Law enforcement agencies had deployed preventive measures across key points in the capital, leading to the temporary custody of numerous supporters prior to the scheduled gathering.
