PBKS vs MI: Change of Venue Owing to Airport Shutdown
A new location is needed because the airports in Dharamsala and Chandigarh have been shut down. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly asked the GCA for its viewpoint, and it is believed that the association has indicated that it would be willing to take part.
The logistical challenges faced by the Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians
According to reports, the Mumbai Indians, who have been awaiting word from the BCCI regarding their journey since Wednesday, will leave for Ahmedabad on Thursday evening. It is thought that the BCCI gave the franchise instructions to confirm the details by this evening. As previously reported, the MI team canceled Wednesday’s planned journey to Dharamsala via Chandigarh due to the airport shutdown.
Punjab Kings officials maintain that they have not received any information. The team is still preparing for their match against Delhi Capitals at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday night.
BCCI Has Challenges in Logistics
However, the BCCI continues to confront logistical challenges as a result of the airport closure. To get to other IPL venues the team may have drive ten hours to Delhi if there are no planes.
