Patti, April 16: Punjab Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar on Tuesday inaugurated infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1.10 crore at six government schools in the Patti constituency as part of the state’s ongoing “Sikhya Kranti” (Education Revolution) campaign.
The projects were launched at Government Elementary Schools in Thatha, Chaudharywala, Dargapur, and Kheda, along with Government High Schools in Dadehar Sahib and Thathia Mahanta.
Bhullar said the state government is upgrading schools with modern amenities like smart classrooms, science labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, gender-specific toilets, boundary walls, interactive panels, playgrounds, and modern furniture.
He said these developments aim to raise educational standards and enable government schools to outperform private ones in quality.
