Chandigarh, Aug.15 2025 — All government, government-aided, and private schools in Chandigarh will remain closed on Monday, August 18, the UT administration announced on Friday.
Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria made the announcement while attending an Independence Day event at the Parade Ground, where he also served as the chief guest and hoisted the National Flag to mark the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
