Baghapurana, December 29, 2024: A tragic accident in Punjab resulted in one death and one injury when a cement tipper collided with two motorcyclists near the Baghapurana bus stand.
Witnesses reported that the tipper, traveling from Kotpura Road towards Moga Road, struck the motorcyclists, causing one of them to fall under the vehicle’s rear tires, where he died at the scene. The other rider was injured.
The police responded quickly, detaining both the tipper and its driver, and have begun an investigation. The victim’s family later staged a protest at the main intersection, causing major traffic disruptions.
