Kharar, Aug. 30 – A cylinder explosion in a flat on Kharar Landran Road early Saturday morning injured two people and triggered panic in a residential society, officials said.

The incident occurred around 4 a.m. in flat number 323/3 of Tower 5, where the blast shook the entire apartment and prompted nearby residents to rush outside in fear. “The sound was so loud that everyone in the society came out running,” a local resident said.

The injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital. Their current condition has not been disclosed.

Residents informed the fire department, and firefighters quickly reached the scene to control the blaze. The fire has been extinguished, and no further injuries were reported.
