Fazilka, Feb 13: Sandeep Gilhotra, a leading business figure and father-in-law of Punjab Minister Aman Arora, died in the early hours of Friday. He was 70.
Gilhotra was a well-known landlord and a significant name in the Punjab business community. His son, Karan Gilhotra, is the co-chairman of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Punjab chapter. The family has arranged for the final rites to take place at 3 p.m. in Fazilka.
The businessman had been admitted to AIIMS Bathinda five days prior. Medical staff mentioned that his hospitalization was due to a stomach ailment. Despite receiving specialized treatment at the premier institute, he passed away this morning.
“The loss of such an experienced entrepreneur is deeply felt by the entire industry,” a representative from the PHD Chamber mentioned. Colleagues and local leaders have expressed their support for the family during this time of grief.
