Estate Office Holding Two-Week Camp for Property Record Corrections

by TheReportingTimes

CHANDIGARH, May 3:— The Estate Office will conduct a special two-week camp from May 5 to May 20 to address discrepancies between official property records and the details available with allottees or owners.

The initiative aims to rectify property statuses, particularly in cases where properties were previously resumed but later restored through court orders.

To streamline the process, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) was recently implemented, and several updates have already been made.

Property allottees under the Estate Office’s jurisdiction are advised to verify the status of their properties via the “Know Your Property” portal (https://estateoffice.chd.gov.in/KnowYourProperty/Search) or the CMIS Chandigarh portal.

“If any discrepancy is found, individuals must submit an application with supporting documents at the special camp,” an Estate Office spokesperson said.

The camp will be set up at the diary section of the Deputy Commissioner’s office and the Estate Office, and will remain operational on all days, including weekends.

Officials confirmed that all applications received during the camp will be processed and resolved within 90 days.
