Chandigarh, Feb 27: The Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab wing marked the acquittal of its senior national leaders with a large-scale celebration in Chandigarh on Friday afternoon. Following the court’s ruling in the alleged liquor scam case, ministers and party workers assembled to express their relief and satisfaction through music and the sharing of traditional sweets.
Cabinet members Harjot Singh Bains and Aman Arora were among the prominent figures present at the party office. They maintained that the court’s verdict has exposed the baseless nature of the accusations leveled against Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. The leaders stated that the party has always operated with transparency and that the legal conclusion reinforces their commitment to public welfare.
Addressing the assembled crowd, Minister Aman Arora asserted that the truth has finally prevailed over political maneuvering. He declared that the party’s resolve to serve the people of Punjab and the nation has been strengthened by the ruling. Other senior officials affirmed that the judicial system has provided justice after a long period of scrutiny, allowing the administration to move forward without the shadow of these allegations.
The event, which saw workers dancing to dhol beats, was described by attendees as a milestone for the party’s morale. Participants asserted that the verdict not only clears their leaders but also validates the “Delhi model” of governance.
