Haryana, March 23— A massive blast at a house in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, near Delhi, killed four family members and seriously injured one person on Saturday evening.
Police said the explosion, which occurred around 6:30 pm, caused a fire, prompting fire tenders to rush to the scene. While locals suspected a gas cylinder blast, police ruled out this possibility, confirming the explosion took place inside the bedroom.
DCP Mayank Mishra said, “This is not a cylinder blast. Its impact was felt throughout the house. Four people died on the spot, while one person is undergoing treatment at Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak.”
Forensic teams are examining the site to determine the exact cause. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
