ROHTAK, Aug. 27 — District police arrested four youths and recovered five illegal pistols along with 25 live cartridges from their possession, officials said on Wednesday.
CIA-2 wing in-charge Sub-Inspector Satish Kumar said a patrolling team received a tip-off that four motorcycle-borne youths carrying illegal weapons were moving from Baliyana towards Kheri Sadh. “A naka was laid near the IMT area, and the suspects were intercepted. On checking, five pistols and 25 rounds were seized,” he said.
Those arrested have been identified as Sunder, Sharan alias Rana, Aman alias Billa of Khidwali, and Pradeep alias Bobby of Ghadawadi village.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, police said.
