Patiala, Feb 3: The Punjab Government’s AYUSH Department conducted a comprehensive Ayurvedic and Homeopathic health camp at Karhali on February 3, benefiting hundreds of local residents. Led by District Homeopathy Officer Dr. Rajiv Kumar Jindia and District Ayurvedic Officer Dr. Mohan Kaushal, the event focused on managing chronic lifestyle diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure.

The camp functioned as a one-stop health hub where residents received diagnostic services and professional advice on traditional healing practices. Medical experts directly said that the high turnout reflects a growing public trust in alternative medicine. Dr. Yogesh, the incharge at Ayushman Arogya Kendra Karhali, provided detailed demonstrations on Panchakarma procedures and discussed natural ways to boost immunity during seasonal transitions.

Support staff and administrators, including Superintendent Mohan Prakash and Yega Instructor Munna Singh, ensured the smooth flow of the day’s activities. The team recorded a high volume of cases related to skin and joint diseases, providing tailored prescriptions to each visitor.

“We aim to provide not just medicine, but also the knowledge of home remedies to ensure long-term wellness,” Dr. Yogesh mentioned during an awareness session.

The successful execution of the camp involved a collaborative effort from various department wings. Officials noted that the integration of free diagnostic testing with traditional medicine distribution helps in early detection and holistic management of common health problems in the region.
