LUDHIANA, Dec 21— A teenage girl was killed and five others were injured Sunday after their car rammed into an SUV on the Ludhiana–Ferozepur national highway, police said.
The victims were returning from a birthday party when the accident took place, according to police.
“The car hit an SUV, and the 16-year-old girl died at the scene,” a police official said.
The remaining five passengers, all teenagers, sustained injuries and were taken to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Police said the cause of the collision is being investigated.
