Dubai, Dec 20: Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh released the official jersey of the Nangal By Cycle (NBC) Club at an event in Dubai, appreciating the club’s work in promoting cycling as a tool for healthy living and social engagement.
Singh praised the initiative for encouraging people to adopt fitness-driven and eco-friendly lifestyles. “Using cycling to bring people together while promoting health and sustainability is a commendable effort,” he said.
Rohit Garg, founder of the NBC Club, said the organisation focused on grassroots outreach to spread awareness about fitness and the environment. “Our aim is to build a cycling culture that benefits both people and the planet,” Garg said.
NBC president Karan Chaudhary said the launch of the jersey by an internationally known sportsperson was a major morale booster. “It is a moment of immense pride for our town,” he said. “Harbhajan Singh’s encouragement will motivate our members and help the club expand its reach.”
