The adventure Brook has taken thus far

January 2022 marked Brook’s England debut. Having participated in 26 ODIs thus far, he has amassed 816 runs at an average of 34, with a peak score of 110 runs. He has also participated in 44 Twenty20 matches, scoring 81 runs at his peak in each of those games. Additionally, he played for the victorious 2022 T20 World Cup squad.

According to the ICC’s current Test cricket batting rankings, Brook is ranked second. He served as vice-captain of England’s ODI and T20 teams for the past 12 months. In addition, he captained the squad in the 2024 ODI series against Australia in Butler’s absence.

Additionally Brook has captained the Under-19 squad and England in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.

Before the 2025 IPL, he was banned by the BCCI

The BCCI has banned Harry Brook from the IPL 2025 competition for two years prior to the start of the 2025 season. According to the new rules, Brook is technically prohibited from playing for the next two years after he abruptly withdrew from this season’s IPL auction. At the November mega auction, the Delhi Capitals paid Rs 6.25 crore for him.
