Haryana Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.22 per cent of regular students

May 13, 2024 , Haryana  – The results of the Secondary (Educational/Open School) Annual Examination-2024 conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani, are being announced today. Candidates can check their examination results on the board’s official website www.bseh.org.in.The pass percentage of the self-study candidates was 88.73 percent

According to Dr. V.P. Yadav, Chairman of Board of School Education Haryana, the examination result for regular candidates stood at 95.22%, while for self-study candidates, it was 88.73%. Dr. Yadav informed that in the Secondary (Educational) regular examination, 2,86,714 candidates appeared, out of which 2,73,015 passed, and 3,652 candidates will have to reappear (Essential Repeat). In this examination, out of 1,37,167 female candidates, 1,32,119 passed with a pass percentage of 96.32, while out of 1,49,547 male candidates, 1,40,896 passed with a pass percentage of 94.22. Thus, there is an improvement of 2.10% in the pass percentage of female candidates compared to male candidates.

He further stated that the pass percentage of government schools in this examination was 93.19%, while that of private schools was 97.80%. The pass percentage of rural area students was 95.24%, whereas that of urban area students was 95.18%. He also mentioned that Panchkula district topped in pass percentage, while Nuh district remained at the bottom.

Dr. Yadav mentioned that these results can also be downloaded from the board’s website by concerned schools/institutions after logging in with their user ID and password from this afternoon.

He added that the result of the Secondary (Open School) examination for self-study candidates stood at 88.73%. In this examination, 12,607 candidates appeared, out of which 11,186 passed. Self-study candidates can check their examination results by entering their roll number or name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth.

Dr. Yadav further informed that in addition to this, the results of the Secondary Open School Annual Examination-2024 (Fresh, Reappear, Mark Improvement, Additional Subjects, and Mercy Chance) conducted in the state are also being declared today. He also stated that the pass percentage of Secondary Open School (Re-appear) examination was 72.50%. In this examination, 10,925 candidates appeared, out of which 7,921 passed. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number or name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth on the board’s official website. Dr. Yadav mentioned that based on these examination results, candidates who wish to re-evaluate or recheck their answer sheets can apply online within 20 days from the date of declaration of results, along with the prescribed fee.
