Chandigarh/Shimla, Aug 19 — Himachal Pradesh PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh will marry Chandigarh-based Amreen Kaur on September 22 in Chandigarh. Singh confirmed the development when contacted on Monday.
Amreen Kaur is the daughter of Jotinder Singh Sekhon and Opinder Kaur. The 35-year-old minister, son of late Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Pratibha Singh, is a two-time MLA from Shimla (Rural).
This will be Singh’s second marriage. He had earlier tied the knot in 2019 with a woman from an erstwhile royal family of Rajasthan. The marriage broke down and ended in divorce after prolonged legal proceedings, sources said.
Following the settlement, Singh has decided to remarry. He had also contested the last Lok Sabha elections from Mandi constituency, where he lost to BJP candidate and actor Kangana Ranaut.
