Home Minister’s Address Outlines Roadmap for ‘New Punjab’

Chandigarh, March 14: Member of Parliament Satnam Singh Sandhu has declared that the Union Home Minister’s visit to Punjab marks a significant step toward the state’s holistic development. Reflecting on the visit, Sandhu maintained that the central government’s focus on peace and industrial growth is exactly what the state requires to prosper.

The MP highlighted that the address touched upon critical issues, including the strengthening of border security and the creation of new employment opportunities for the youth. Sandhu stated that the emphasis on utilizing technology and increased surveillance to prevent smuggling is a necessary measure for a border state like Punjab.

Regarding the state’s internal challenges, Sandhu asserted that the Union Minister’s zero-tolerance policy on drugs provides a clear direction for law enforcement agencies.
