KATHMANDU, June 3: Nepal Police on Monday night arrested two foreign nationals, including an Indian citizen, after seizing over 10 kilograms of marijuana from their possession at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to a statement from Nepal Police headquarters, the arrested individuals have been identified as Somask Patcha, 43, a Thai national, and Pereira Giffin, 29, an Indian national.
The duo arrived in Kathmandu from Bangkok aboard a Nepal Airlines flight when they were apprehended with 10 kilograms and 420 grams of marijuana.
Both suspects have been handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation, police said.
