Kaithal, Jan 16: A major crackdown by the Haryana STF has led to the arrest of four shooters associated with the Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar criminal syndicate. The arrests follow a series of raids in Kaithal district, uncovering a network that spans from local extortion in Punjab and Haryana to contract killings in the United States.
The STF mentioned that the accused were part of an escalating internal rift within the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This friction was evident during a murderous attack on Harry Boxer in the US, where the suspects allegedly targeted their own former associates.
Beyond their international operations, the four men served as the muscle for extortion rackets in India. They were reportedly responsible for multiple firing incidents at the premises of traders and members of the public across several northern states.
“The accused were actively involved in operating extortion rackets and orchestrated firing incidents on businessmen,” the police statement noted.
Authorities are now working to bridge the gap between local arrests and international crimes. The IG of Haryana STF directly said that maintaining a high level of operational coordination with global agencies like Interpol is a priority given the cross-border nature of these criminal activities.
I can compile a timeline of the gang’s activities in the US and India or draft a brief profile on the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar syndicate’s recent operations in the region.
