Abohar, March 6: Proud moment for the town of Abohar, local resident Akriti Singla has successfully cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025 with an All India Rank of 122. The final list, released by the UPSC on Friday, confirms her eligibility for the Indian Police Service.
Singla is an accomplished scholar who holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University. Before tackling what is widely considered the nation’s most challenging competitive exam, she had already established her academic credentials by topping the UGC NET and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Her family declared that while she has achieved many honors in the past, this induction into the IPS is her most significant accomplishment to date. Pawan Singla, her father, asserted that the phone has not stopped ringing as friends and neighbors celebrate the news. He stated that the family is extremely proud of the hard work she invested in her dream.
The 2025 UPSC batch consists of 958 shortlisted individuals who will staff the core of India’s administrative and police framework. Friends and mentors declared that Singla’s disciplined approach to her studies was a key factor in her high ranking. Her induction into the service is expected to take place following the completion of administrative formalities for the new recruits.
