CHANDIGARH, February 28, 2026: Punjab unit of the Aam Aadmi Party has confirmed that its top leadership will participate in a high-profile rally at Jantar Mantar this Sunday. The event follows the court’s decision to clear Arvind Kejriwal and other senior leaders of charges in the excise policy case, a move the Punjab unit describes as a vindication of their “staunch honesty.”
Media In-charge Baltej Pannu asserted that the mobilization from Punjab will be significant, with thousands of karyakartas joining state ministers in the national capital. He stated that the verdict has cleared the path for the party to focus on its pro-people agenda. “The people of Punjab, like the people of Delhi and the rest of the country, have full faith in Arvind Kejriwal’s honesty,” Pannu maintained.
Spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal stated that the rally is not merely a celebration of a legal victory but a response to the “political witch-hunt” faced by the party. He declared that the assembly would serve to raise the misuse of power by opponents. “This rally will not only respond to false allegations but will also set a new direction for national politics,” Dhaliwal affirmed.
