Kharar, Sept. 13 — One person was killed and another seriously injured Saturday evening after unidentified assailants attacked them with a sharp-edged weapon at Sky Lark Market on Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Marg along the Kharar–Landaura Road, police said.
The deceased was identified as Harvinder Singh, while the second victim has not yet been identified. The injured was rushed to a hospital, and Harvinder’s body was sent for post-mortem examination.
Police have launched an intensive investigation and are conducting raids to trace the attackers. “We are pursuing multiple leads and appeal to residents to immediately report any suspicious activity,” an officer said.
The incident has created an atmosphere of fear among local traders and residents, who gathered near the market as news spread.
