Livasa Hospitals Expands Punjab Footprint with Mega Project in Ludhiana

Investment of Rs 360 Crore to Boost Tertiary Healthcare and Local Employment

Chandigarh/Ludhiana, March 11: Livasa Hospitals has entered into a long-term agreement to develop a state-of-the-art multi-speciality hospital in Ludhiana, marking a major milestone in Punjab’s medical infrastructure. Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora announced that the total project investment, including landowner contributions, stands at Rs 360 crore, supported by the India Resurgence Fund.

Anurag Yadav, CEO of Livasa Hospitals, stated that the new facility will provide technology-driven healthcare across 38 medical specialities, including oncology, neurology, and robotic orthopaedic surgeries. He maintained that with this expansion, Livasa aims to increase its total capacity in Punjab to nearly 2,000 beds, building upon its existing network in Mohali, Amritsar, and other districts. Yadav affirmed the group’s commitment to delivering advanced services such as kidney transplants and 24×7 critical care.

Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora declared that the Punjab Government is creating a robust ecosystem that invites such high-value investments. He asserted that the presence of such advanced facilities will position Punjab as a regional leader for healthcare services. The Minister affirmed that the government’s priority remains the welfare of its citizens through the provision of quality clinical services and the creation of a sustainable investment environment.
