Chandigarh, Oct 10: Temperatures across the Tricity region experienced slight downward adjustments on Saturday following a period of persistent cloud cover and mild wind patterns. Panchkula logged the lowest daytime maximum in Haryana at 29.6°C, making it the coolest urban spot in the immediate vicinity. In contrast, Mohali recorded the highest minimum night temperature in Punjab at 23.7°C, maintaining elevated nighttime readings alongside Chandigarh.
The shift in regional weather patterns coincided with an advisory alert predicting gusty winds and brief thundershowers, though local administrative units reported no localized damage or infrastructure disruptions. Daytime maximums in Chandigarh dropped to 31.2°C, while Mohali recorded a maximum of 30.6°C. Weather monitoring agencies indicate that while daytime conditions remain comfortable under light overcast skies, night temperatures across most parts of the Tricity continue to hover above traditional seasonal baselines.
