Patiala, Jan 30: Residents of Patiala continue to show strong interest in traditional medicine as over 500 people attended a free medical camp at Mahaveer Dharamshala Tripuri. The event is part of a broader government effort to offer specialized medical care across 15 different locations in the district.

The camp provided diagnostic services and medication to 568 individuals in a single day. This welfare project is designed to strengthen the reach of the Ayurveda and Homeopathic Department, focusing on preventative care and natural treatment methods for the general public.

“We have observed a significant interest in these medical systems throughout our previous stops in Rajpura and Samana,” said District Homeopathic Officer Dr. Rajiv Kumar Jindia. He also mentioned that the team is committed to reaching as many citizens as possible through this ongoing series.

Dr. Yoges Bhatia, the Nodal Officer for the camp, managed the logistical operations to ensure smooth patient flow. The medical expertise was provided by a team of specialists including Dr. Rajneet, Dr. Seetal Chaudhary, Dr. Savita Kondal, and Dr. Poonam Sharma.

The department’s strategy follows successful sessions already held in areas like Chamaru and Wajidpur. Supported by the leadership of Director Dr. Raman Khanna and Superintendent Mohan Prakash Singh, the initiative continues to focus on providing professional medical advice and free supplies to those in need.
