New Delhi, 26 December 2024 –Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking on Veer Bal Diwas, stressed the importance of preparing the youth with skills in rapidly evolving fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Addressing the event, Modi acknowledged the critical role young people play in the country’s growth and underlined the need for a forward-thinking approach to education and technology.
“Our youth are key to India’s future,” Modi said. “We are transitioning from traditional machines to systems powered by AI, which is reshaping every industry. It’s crucial that we empower our young people with the knowledge and confidence to harness these advancements.”
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a range of “youth-centric” policies designed to foster talent and help young minds embrace future challenges with self-assurance.
The event also honored the legacy of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons, the Sahibzadas, who gave their lives for the nation’s cause over 300 years ago. Modi spoke of their incredible bravery in the face of oppression, calling their sacrifice an enduring example for today’s youth. “Their commitment to faith and the nation’s cause remains unmatched, and it continues to inspire young people across India,” he said.
