Chandigarh, December 25, 2024: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann revealed that Punjab has secured investments totaling Rs 86,000 crore, paving the way for employment opportunities for nearly 3.92 lakh youth.
Mann accentuated his government’s dedication to boosting industrialization and driving economic growth in the state.
In just 30 months of governance, the state has drawn major companies, including Tata Steel and Sanatan Textiles, to establish operations in Punjab. Mann attributed this progress to the state’s harmonious environment, robust infrastructure, skilled workforce, and investor-friendly policies.
To empower local talent, the state government has mandated that companies prioritize hiring local youth for new projects, ensuring their active involvement in Punjab’s economic transformation.
