CHANDIGARH, March 27, 2026: With the Aam Aadmi Party government completing four years in Punjab, party leaders on Friday intensified their outreach efforts, holding direct interactions with citizens across the state under the “Shandaar 4 Saal, Bhagwant Mann de Naal” campaign.

The ‘Samvad’ initiative, now in its second day, brought Cabinet ministers and legislators face-to-face with residents in villages and urban neighborhoods, where they discussed governance outcomes and listened to public concerns.

Senior ministers including Barinder Kumar Goyal, Harbhajan Singh ETO and Lal Chand Kataruchak led engagements in their constituencies, organizing street-corner meetings and open discussions.

Addressing residents in Lehra, Goyal said the administration has worked to ensure delivery at the household level. “The Bhagwant Mann Government has focused on delivering real change at the grassroots level, ensuring that benefits reach every household,” he said.

ETO, while outlining the government’s performance, referred to developments across key sectors. “The government’s key achievements include improvements in education, healthcare, electricity, employment, infrastructure, and law and order,” he stated.

Kataruchak said the exercise is also meant to strengthen accountability through dialogue. “This campaign is not just about achievements, but also about strengthening direct communication with citizens and understanding their aspirations, ensuring governance remains responsive, transparent, and accountable,” he said.

Party representatives covered a wide geographic spread, reaching areas such as Barnala, Rajrana (Sardulgarh), Momiyan (Shutrana), Bahon Yatari (Bathinda Rural) and Gidder (Bhucho Mandi). Additional meetings took place in Bhai Bakhtaur, Ghuman Kalan, Mansa, Kasam Bhatti (Jaitu) and Ludhiana East.

Engagements were also reported from Dheema Wali (Kotkapura), Samana, Khiali (Mehal Kalan) and parts of Balluana, where turnout remained strong.

The campaign further extended to Bugra (Maur Mandi), Patiala Urban, Bhucho Mandi, Jalandhar Cantt, Talwandi Sabo and Sundarchakk (Bhoa), covering both rural and urban pockets.

Participants at several locations responded positively, acknowledging changes in service delivery and welfare initiatives. Many residents also expressed continued support for Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, with some indicating their willingness to back the party again in the 2027 elections.
