Mohali, Oct. 1 — Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda continues to be on life support for the fifth consecutive day, with doctors reporting no significant improvement in his neurological condition.

Medical teams from the Critical Care and Neurosciences departments at a private hospital in Mohali are closely monitoring the 35-year-old singer. Hospital authorities said in an official statement, “His neurological status continues to be critical, with no significant clinical improvement observed. The overall prognosis remains guarded.”

Jawanda, a former police officer born in Jagraon, sustained severe head and spinal injuries in a road accident on September 27 near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, while travelling to Shimla on a motorcycle with friends. Police reported he lost control of the bike, leading to the crash.

He was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali in an “extremely critical” condition and placed on ventilator support. Jawanda is known for his popular contributions to Punjabi music and has a large fan following.
