 RR vs LSG: Avesh Wins the Last Over

Rajasthan got off to a great start chasing the target. Yashasvi Jaiswal and 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi shared an 85-run partnership for the first wicket. Aiden Markram gets Sooryavanshi stumped by Pant. He scored 34 runs in 20 balls with two fours and three sixes. After this, Shardul Thakur showed Nitish Rana the way to the pavilion. He could score only eight runs. Then Jaiswal was joined by Riyan Parag. Both added 62 runs for the third wicket. Avesh Khan bowled Jaiswal on the first ball of the 18th over. He got out after scoring 74 runs in 52 balls. In the same over, Avesh also dismissed Ryan lbw. He returned with 39 runs. In the last over of the innings, the team needed nine runs to win, but Avesh Khan dismissed Shimran Hetmyer and broke their hopes. Dhruv Jurel and Shubham Dubey remained unbeaten with six and three runs respectively. Avesh took three wickets for Lucknow while Shardul and Markram got one success each.
