Six Minors Held for Stabbing Man to Death in Delhi

New Delhi, April 26 —Six minors, aged 13 to 15, were apprehended for stabbing 28-year-old Shakir to death in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura, police said.

The attack occurred as the minors sought to establish themselves in the world of crime.

Police received information about an injured man in Subhash Mohalla, and Shakir was later declared dead at GTB Hospital.

A case was filed under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Bhajanpura police station, prompting an investigation.

Crime teams and forensic units inspected the crime scene, and CCTV footage led to the minors’ identification.

The weapon used was recovered from their possession. Section 3(5) (joint liability) of the BNS was added to the case following the minors’ arrest.
