Special Train from Jammu to Delhi for Tourists

Jammu, Aug 28: Authorities have announced an unreserved two special trains from Jammu to Delhi on Thursday to facilitate stranded tourists amid disrupted highway connectivity.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, said that the special train from Jammu to Delhi has been arranged for stranded tourists and will depart from Jammu at around 4:30pm instead of 2pm.

The train will halt at key stations including Kathua and Pathankot Cantt, allowing passengers to board from Jammu, Kathua, and other stops en route.

Div Com Jammu further said that the another unreserved special train has been arranged for Delhi and will depart from Jammu at 3pm.

The move aims to ease difficulties faced by travelers stuck due to the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
