The High-Powered Purchase Committee successfully negotiated contract terms down from an initial ₹676 crore, ensuring fiscal efficiency while greenlighting essential utility and judicial projects.

The Chief Minister asserted that the state will adopt a zero-tolerance policy toward delays in the tender process. He declared that officials must ensure development works meet high-quality standards, noting that timely completion is a priority for his administration. “Delays or negligence in quality will not be tolerated,” the Chief Minister affirmed during the session.

Key infrastructure highlights include the construction of a ₹18 crore judicial complex in Bawal and the laying of a critical water pipeline under the railway line in Gurugram. The panel also addressed energy needs by authorizing the purchase of 220 KV and 33/11 KV transformers, alongside a ₹157 crore investment in substation infrastructure across three districts.

Agriculture and Public Health departments also saw several items approved, including the release of water from the Kalanwali Sewage Treatment Plant to the Rodi Ghaggar Drain. Cabinet ministers present at the meeting supported the Chief Minister’s directive to prioritize public welfare through transparent and efficient procurement practices.
