CHANDIGARH, Dec 12— The tricity is set for cooler daytime conditions and chilly nights over the coming days, with the weather department forecasting partly cloudy skies until December 16 and clear weather on December 17.
Minimum temperatures across Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula remained on a declining trend, with most areas recording slight but steady drops. Officials said the gradual cooling aligns with seasonal patterns, though dense fog may disrupt early travel for the next two days.
Maximum temperatures in the region are expected to range between 26°C and 28°C through the five-day period, while night temperatures are likely to remain between 9°C and 11°C.
The IMD said the combination of high nighttime humidity and falling temperatures will continue to support fog formation in isolated pockets. Commuters have been advised to plan early travel with caution.
