Moga, Feb 7: A Moga court has handed down life sentences to two brothers, Gurtej Singh and Chinda Singh, after finding them guilty of murder. The verdict follows a legal process investigating their involvement in a fatal attack, though the proceedings for two other suspects remain ongoing.
The court delivered the judgment after reviewing evidence that linked the siblings to the crime. While the two adults have now been sentenced, the judicial system is handling the remaining accused through a different track due to their age.
“The court found the brothers guilty and has ordered life imprisonment for both. The legal process regarding the two minors in the same case is currently being heard by the Juvenile Justice Board,” a legal official mentioned during the proceedings.
