Tamil Nadu, May 2: Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette on Friday announced its collaboration with the Madras Regimental Centre (MRC) of the Indian Army for a five-day rally across Tamil Nadu, aimed at honouring the Veterans and Veer Naris of the Madras Regiment and the wider armed forces community.
The outreach initiative, supported by a fleet of Ultraviolette’s flagship F77 motorcycles, traversed six districts—Tirupur, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Theni, and Coimbatore—covering a wide range of terrain.
During the journey, army personnel engaged directly with nearly 3,000 Veterans and Veer Naris, addressing concerns, sharing information about entitlements, and delivering on-the-spot assistance.
According to a statement from Ultraviolette, “The F77s covered a cumulative distance of over 6,000 kilometres during the rally.”
Narayan Subramaniam, CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, said the initiative aligns with the brand’s core values. “Collaborating again with the Indian Army for this remarkable outreach initiative is an honour that resonates deeply with Ultraviolette’s ethos. Our vision to create world-class technology is inspired by the spirit of India—undaunted, resilient, and driven by purpose,” he said.
“The F77 embodies the very principles that define our Armed Forces—precision, performance, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.”
The F77, which is designed, engineered, and manufactured in India, showcases high-end performance with a 0–60 km/h acceleration in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 155 km/h. It features a 10.3 kWh battery pack, a peak power output of 30 kW (40.2 hp), and peak torque of 100 Nm, delivering an IDC-certified range of 323 km on a single charge.
Ultraviolette’s partnership with the MRC reflects a broader trend among Indian companies demonstrating support for the armed forces.
The rally not only celebrated military service but also reinforced the company’s commitment to social responsibility and national pride.
