NAGPUR, Dec 19 — Six workers died Friday when a water tank fell at Avaada Electro Private Limited, a solar panel factory in Nagpur’s MIDC Butibori area, police officials said.
“Three workers lost their lives at the scene after getting trapped under the debris,” said a police spokesperson. “Three others were taken to a hospital but later died due to injuries sustained in the collapse.”
Rescue operations were immediately launched, and the factory premises have been sealed for investigation. Police are working to determine the circumstances that led to the tank’s collapse.
