by TheReportingTimes

Mohali, December 31: The Aam Aadmi Party family expanded further today when around 58 families joined the party under the leadership of Harmesh Singh Kumbda (Block President), Mrs Ramanpreet Kaur Kumbda (Councillor and Constituency Coordinator, Women Wing, S.A.S. Nagar), Mrs Rita (Block Coordinator, Balongi Women Wing), and Sarabjit Singh Rocky (President, Balmiki Colony, Balongi). They were welcomed by MLA Kulwant Singh and others at the Aam Aadmi Party office located in Sector 79.

While speaking to journalists, MLA Kulwant Singh said that all this is happening due to the efforts being made for the development and welfare of Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party government, and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal. He said this process is continuing because over the past few days, a large number of people have been leaving the Congress and other parties to join the Aam Aadmi Party.

MLA Kulwant Singh said that earlier, 50 families from Sector 70 and Sector 114 had joined the Aam Aadmi Party, and today a large number of families from the Balmiki community have joined the party. He assured, in the presence of the media, that there will be no delay in addressing the welfare and needs of this community, and that all their problems and issues will be resolved in a timely manner.

He said that opposition party leaders now have nothing left to say against the Aam Aadmi Party government, which is why they make baseless statements every day. However, the people of the state want progress and prosperity for Punjab, for which the Aam Aadmi Party government is making concrete efforts every day and implementing people-centric schemes on a daily basis.

He said that AAP workers and supporters regularly visit different wards and villages, conduct surveys, prepare reports, and submit them to the concerned department officials. Based on these reports, a regular roadmap is prepared to resolve issues, and problems are addressed in a planned manner.

The people of the state no longer believe in the misleading statements of opposition leaders. Opposition party leaders are now confused about what they should do and how they should proceed. MLA Kulwant Singh further said that this trend of people joining the Aam Aadmi Party will continue in the coming days, as people from different religions, communities, and brotherhoods are reaching out to them.

He said that Harmesh Singh Kumbda, Councillor Ramanpreet Kaur Kumbda, Madam Rita, Sarabjit Singh, and others are continuously working to strengthen the organisational structure of the Aam Aadmi Party, which boosts the morale of other party workers and supporters.
