SHIMLA, June 6, 2025 — Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Himachal Pradesh on Friday for a two-day visit, during which he will tour key institutions and interact with state leadership.
Upon arrival at Annandale, Dhankhar was welcomed by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, cabinet ministers, and senior government officials.
The Vice President is staying at the Raj Bhawan during his visit. On Saturday, he is scheduled to visit the Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry at Nauni in Solan district, where he is expected to interact with faculty and students.
The visit underlines the Centre’s growing engagement with academic institutions and state-level development agendas.
