All Indians Safe in Israel, Embassy Issues Fresh Advisory

by TheReportingTimes

New Delhi/Tel Aviv, June 15: All Indian nationals in Israel are safe and accounted for, the Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv said on Sunday, even as tensions escalate following Israel’s military operation and Iran’s retaliatory strikes. The embassy has assured continued support, announcing that a 24×7 helpline remains active to assist citizens during the ongoing conflict.

“The safety and security of Indian nationals is paramount to us,” the embassy said in a fresh advisory issued Sunday. “We advise all Indian citizens to stay vigilant, strictly avoid any unnecessary movement, and adhere to safety protocols as advised by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command.”

The advisory comes amid reports of more than 270 missiles and over 100 drones launched by Iran towards Israel since Friday. According to Israeli officials, 13 people, including three minors, have died, and 390 others have been injured in the attacks. Among them, nine remain in critical condition, 30 are moderately injured, and 351 suffered minor injuries.

The Indian mission confirmed that it is maintaining active contact with Indian nationals in Israel, including caregivers, workers, students, tourists, and businesspersons. “The Embassy of India in Tel Aviv is in touch with members of the Indian community… and continues to monitor the situation closely,” the statement read.

With the Israeli government declaring a national emergency and closing its airspace, the embassy urged all Indians in the country to remain indoors unless necessary and to follow instructions issued by local authorities.

The mission also reiterated the availability of its round-the-clock emergency helpline, launched earlier in the week. Citizens in need of assistance can contact the mission via phone at +972-54-7520711 and +972-54-3278392, or email at cons1.telaviv@mea.gov.in.

While the situation remains fluid, the embassy assured that it would continue to provide timely updates and support as needed.
