Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann greeted the veteran leader, who holds a prominent position as the head of the Chief Khalsa Diwan, during a formal induction event. Two other notable figures from the Majitha family, including former RTI Commissioner Heminder Singh Majitha and current Chief Khalsa Diwan member Sukhdeep Singh Majitha, similarly made the political transition.

“Eminent personalities from Punjab’s religious, social, and political spheres, former Rajya Sabha Member and head of Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Rajmohinder Singh Majitha Ji, former RTI Commissioner Heminder Singh Majitha Ji, and current Chief Khalsa Diwan member Sukhdeep Singh Majitha Ji, have joined the AAP family after being impressed by the party’s pro-people policies,” Mann declared.

The political shift is expected to strengthen the ruling party’s influence across the Majha territory. Local party organizer Talbir Singh Gill accompanied the leaders during the ceremony.

The Chief Minister maintained that the inclusion of individuals with deep roots in religious, social, and administrative fields would help advance the state’s socio-economic goals.

“The support of such experienced leaders, who are deeply committed to the welfare and betterment of Punjab, will further strengthen the dream of building a ‘Rangla Punjab’,” Mann stated, adding that the administration is continuously dedicated to state prosperity.
