Chandigarh, March 26: Haryana government has reassigned 63 senior officials, including 21 from the Indian Administrative Service and 42 from the Haryana Civil Services. This reorganization touches nearly every level of state administration, from divisional commissioners to additional deputy commissioners in districts like Panipat, Sirsa, and Hisar.
According to the official notification, Shashwat Sangwan will now handle the duties of Director and Special Secretary of Urban Local Bodies, in addition to leading the State Urban Livelihood Mission. Local governance in the districts has also been reshaped, with Ankit Kumar Chouksey appointed as ADC of Panipat and Arpit Sangal taking the role of ADC in Sirsa. Jyoti has been designated as the new ADC for Nuh, while Utsav Anand and Rahul Raiya will serve as ADCs for Hisar and Karnal, respectively.
The reshuffle extends to the sub-divisional level, with Kanika Goyal appointed as SDM for Ambala Cantonment and Yogesh Saini moving to Mahendragarh. For the public health sector, Jaideep Kumar has been named the new Additional Secretary for Public Health Engineering. Government representatives asserted that these changes are part of a routine administrative process to ensure the smooth functioning of state machinery and the effective delivery of public services.
