Digital evidence points to external plot to sabotage Gurugram’s manufacturing hub

MANESAR, APRIL 13 — Authorities in Gurugram have uncovered a digital trail linking outside agitators to the April 9 riots in the Manesar industrial belt, leading to the arrest of six suspects. The Crime Branch declared that the suspects, who hail from various states including Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, acted as primary strategists to fuel industrial sabotage.

The investigation revealed that the group allegedly coached workers on methods to confront law enforcement and utilized petrol bombs to destroy corporate assets. Police stated that what began as a routine labor strike was “hijacked” by these individuals to incite a level of violence reminiscent of the region’s past tragedies.

“The investigation further highlighted that most of the arrested suspects had no professional ties to any company in Gurugram, confirming they were non-workers acting as agitators,” a senior official declared.

According to police reports, the suspects incited laborers to pelt stones and engage in arson, specifically targeting company leadership and on-duty officers. In response to the findings, the police have appealed to the labor community to report any external elements attempting to disrupt the peace.

The administration affirmed that the crackdown will continue until all links in the conspiracy are identified. Officials maintained that the goal is to protect the industrial peace of the region and ensure that labor grievances are not used as a cover for ulterior motives.
