Sangrur, July 1: To popularize the values of social harmony and egalitarianism, fifty mobile documentary units have been deployed to traverse rural and urban Punjab. The fleet was officially sent off by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann as part of the state’s grand preparations for the upcoming six hundred fiftieth Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj. The mobile units are scheduled to project a specialized thirty-minute cinematic presentation mapping out the saint’s lifelong crusade against social divisions.

The state government has allocated a substantial financial pool of one hundred crore rupees to ensure the centenary celebrations are conducted in a highly befitting and historic manner. Each mobile van houses high-definition projection systems to broadcast the custom-made film simultaneously across thousands of neighborhoods, ensuring that the younger demographic learns directly about the philosophical roots of their heritage.

“Today, 50 mobile documentary vans are being flagged off to travel from village to village and screen this documentary,” Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann affirmed. He stated that the extensive reach across all twenty-three districts ensures that no household is left behind, describing the initiative as a collective cultural duty to spread the message of universal peace globally.

The Chief Minister declared that Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj envisioned an ideal, harmonious society where no individual is subjected to suffering or systemic neglect. He maintained that the administration’s policy framework is heavily inspired by these exact values of welfare and equal opportunity for all sections of society.

He affirmed that the visual campaign is an effective mechanism to actively engage the public, transforming the core principles of devotion and social equity into actionable community values. He stated that traditional barriers can be dismantled through education and awareness, highlighting the documentary as a major tool for building a cohesive social fabric. The launch event concluded with senior cabinet members affirming their support for the ongoing spiritual and developmental programs designed to uplift underprivileged sections across the territory.
