New Delhi, July 20: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a crucial consultation with Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in his Parliament House office following intensified demonstrations by the Cockroach Janta Party across key corridors of Delhi.
The two-hour session followed earlier interactions between Health Minister JP Nadda and CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, who submitted formal representations regarding examination security and systemic oversight.
“We have presented our position directly to the leadership,” CJP representative Saurav Das asserted following his meeting with Union Minister JP Nadda. “The ball is now in the government’s court to act on paper leak accountability.”
The student-led movement continues to call for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Law enforcement authorities maintained heightened vigil across central avenues leading toward Parliament as public gatherings expanded.
The administrative response coincides with activist Sonam Wangchuk outlining specific terms to end his multi-week fast. While reports indicate potential outreach to Wangchuk by ministerial representatives, official channels have yet to confirm a schedule.
“The movement will maintain its presence until formal assurances are delivered,” Ashutosh Ranka declared to assembling crowds. “Deliberations must yield concrete solutions for the affected youth.”
