NEW DELHI, AUGUST 16: Cockroach Janta Party chief spokesperson Saurav Das has taken strong exception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech warning against a “dimagi Naxal” influence among the country’s youth. Delivering his Independence Day address from the Red Fort, PM Modi stated that elements with disruptive mindsets must be isolated to protect national progress and ensure young citizens are guided into mainstream development.
In response, CJP leadership declared that questioning policy decisions and raising public grievances form the bedrock of democratic participation rather than ideological extremism.
“They will divide. We will unite,” Das declared, accusing the governing establishment of attempting to create an artificial “Your Gen Z vs Our Gen Z” division among young citizens.
Das maintained that youth-led movements across districts reflect a broader awakening and a commitment to peaceful constitutional rights. He noted that recent student assertion during national public exam irregularities demonstrated the resilience and collective strength of educated youth when demanding institutional accountability.
Opposition leaders across political lines also weighed in, arguing that broad labels should not be applied to citizens exercising their right to critique government performance.
